  Newly confirmed CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING board mamber and former U.S. senator DAVID PRYOR is recovering from quadruple bypass heart surgery at the UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS FOR MEDICAL SCIENCES in LITTLE ROCK.
  PRYOR, 72, was admitted to the hospital MONDAY night with chest pressure symptoms and was operated upon for six hours WEDNESDAY. The ARKANSAS NEWS BUREAU reports that PRYOR is expected to be released within a week and is expected to make a full recovery.
