ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to family and friends of COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME and TEXAS RADIO HALL OF FAME member LARRY SCOTT, who died SATURDAY (7/9). He was 78.
SCOTT is perhaps best remembered for his time in LOS ANGELES radio, where he worked at Country outlets KBBQ and KLAC between 1968-1982. His Country radio resume also included time at WIL/ST. LOUIS and KUZZ/BAKERSFIELD, among others. Between radio gigs, SCOTT had a short stint in record promotion. In addition to his HALL OF FAME radio credentials, SCOTT was a four-time CMA Personality of the Year honoree. No word yet on services.
