WBOS/Boston Rebrands As 'Alt 92.9'

GREATER MEDIA has rebranded Alternative WBOS/BOSTON as "ALT 92.9."

"ALT 92.9 will still deliver BOSTON's Best Alternative Music that listeners have come to expect from the dial position and bring a solid identity to both the format and the station," said VP/Market Manager MARY MENNA.

"We are passionate about delivering our content in a non-cluttered, non-controversial, pure-play music environment by playing the most music,” said PD KEN WEST. “In doing so, we are offering the ALT 92.9 Promise: 60 minutes of music after every commercial break."
