CAB To Salute McLachlan, Lavoie

During its 2006 convention, the CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS will induct HALIFAX native SARAH McLACHLAN and MANITOBA native DANIEL LAVOIE into its Broadcast Hall of Fame in the "Music Star" category. The induction ceremonies will take place during the CAB Gold Ribbon Awards Gala on NOVEMBER 7 at the WESTIN BAYSHORE RESORT in VANCOUVER. Both recording artists are slated to perform at the gala.

"We are honored to be recognizing the tremendous contributions of these two outstanding musicians at the CAB's 80th Anniversary Convention," said CAB Chair ROB BRAIDE. "Both artists exemplify this country's highest achievements in musical talent."
