WRNR/Annapolis Sold To New Entity

EMPIRE AAA WRNR/ANNAPOLIS, MD has been sold to a new company, GRASONVILLE BROADCASTING, named after the station's actual city of license. 

Reports published elsewhere that the station was being purchased by NASSAU BROADCASTING PARTNERS are incorrect. However, NASSAU President/CEO LOU MERCATANTI is involved in this transaction as part of GRASONVILLE.

RICK MUSSELMAN, VP/GM of NASSAU's MARYLAND stations, tells ALL ACCESS that he expects that the station will eventually be folded into NASSAU. He also said that the new company will retain WRNR's long-running AAA format.
