CITADEL Alternative WRAX/BIRMINGHAM had JOHN MAYER at the station for a rare on-air interview this past MONDAY (10/9). MAYER hasn't been doing radio interviews during this tour, but he made an exception for WRAX since longtime jock REG (host of "REG'S COFFEEHOUSE" on SUNDAY mornings) was among the first to ever play JOHN MAYER on the radio. MAYER stayed for an hour to talk about his new album, how he has to be choosy as to who he sits by at restaurants, and how he is finally at a comfortable place in his career.
