Bruce Elliott Named For Middays At WCBM/Baltimore

WCBM MARYLAND INC. News-Talk WCBM-A/BALTIMORE has chosen former iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WILM-A/WILMINGTON, DE PD/morning host and HEARST News-Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE weekender BRUCE ELLIOTT as the late TOM MARR's replacement in the 9a-noon (ET) weekday slot.

In a statement posted to the station website, PD SEAN CASEY wrote, "it has been several weeks since the passing of our colleague, TOM MARR. On behalf of the MARR and MANGIONE families, I’d like to thank you for your overwhelming outpouring of support and sympathy during this difficult time. your calls, letters, emails and texts have been a source of great comfort to us all in paying tribute to TOM. You have let us know what kind of impact he has had on our listening audience here in BALTIMORE and nationwide.  TOM was a unique on-air talent whose style and personality will never be replaced, however, he would want his legacy to continue on the radio station that he helped to build and that WCBM remain committed to offering the most powerful names in talk.... WCBM believed it was important to choose a talk show personality who could not only inform and entertain but who knows our community and listeners and is part of our community."
