IPO On The Way?

Is UNIVISION's initial public offering finally around the corner?  The NEW YORK POST's CLAIRE ATKINSON is reporting that the company's IPO, the plans for which were first announced last year, is now likely to happen in the Fall, with a "post-election time frame ... offering the right conditions."

UNIVISION has applied to the Commission for permission to exceed the 25% foreign ownership limit, asking for approval of up to 49% aggregate foreign ownership and up to 40% equity and voting; the company, which is owned 10% by MEXICO's TELEVISA network, is expecting an answer from the Commission by SEPTEMBER 7th.
