THE JOURNAL-TIMES reports HOMETOWN BROADCASTING WLGC-F/GREENUP, KY-ASHLAND, OH-HUNTINGTON, WV's TIMOTHY “FIG” CARPER has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse in an ongoing investigation by KENTUCKY State Police.

The paper notes, "CARPER is a well-known sports broadcaster for WLGC. He also is a former youth pastor for a GRAYSON church. He is charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse, according to state police."

CARPER has been suspended from WLGC without pay, pending further investigation.
