MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS Country KKGO (GO COUNTRY)/LOS ANGELES has tapped Station Mgr. and Dir./Marketing MICHAEL LEVINE as its new PD, effective immediately. He will retain his current responsibilities in addition to his new programming role.
MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS President, and father of MICHAEL, SAUL LEVINE commented, “I placed KKGO FM on the air on FEBRUARY 18th, 1959. I feel gratified that as a pioneer broadcaster, KKGO has been successful in bringing Country radio back to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, and creating one of the most recognized and successful Country radio stations in the USA. It is with a profound sense of confidence that I make the announcement today.”
LEVINE succeeds TONYA CAMPOS, who left the station last month after a nine-year run (NET NEWS 7/15). Send congrats to LEVINE here.
