Peel's Last '67 Pirate Broadcasts Get BBC Airing

The late JOHN PEEL's last pirate broadcasts from RADIO LONDON will be aired on the BBC in four half-hour installments beginning OCTOBER 23. The 1967 shows were the last the legendary DJ did before the UK government banned the pirate stations in AUGUST 1967 and PEEL joined the BBC's fledgling Top 40 outlet RADIO 1, where he worked until his death in 2004.
