CSR Takes "XM Canada" Name

CANADIAN SATELLITE RADIO has officially launched its operation as XM CANADA, taking the name of its American partner company. XM plans to hit retail outlets and GENERAL MOTORS dealerships for the holiday selling season. 

Canadian customers can preregister for the 80 channel service (including four English and four French Canadian channels) at xmcanada.ca; the company will have studios in TORONTO and MONTREAL at the outset and will add a VANCOUVER studio at a later date.
