The photographer who recently sued iHEARTMEDIA over unauthorized use of a photo on the website of Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK is now suing TOWNSQUARE MEDIA for unauthorized use of several photos on the websites of Hot AC WJLK (94.3 THE POINT)/ASBURY PARK, NJ, XXL MAGAZINE, THEFW:, and SINGERSROOM.
The suit, filed by NEW JERSEY-based photographer CHRISTOPHER SADOWSKI in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NEW YORK, alleges that TOWNSQUARE used the photos -- one of ALEC and HILARIA BALDWIN, two of BEYONCÉ, and one of REMY MA -- in the site without permission. The plaintiff is seeking actual or statutory (at least $2,500 up to $25,000 each) damages and costs for the alleged violations.
