iHEARTMEDIA/SALISBURY, MD has named DAVE HOVEL SVP/Programming, effective MONDAY, AUGUST 29th. HOVEL will oversee Country WWFB (FROGGY 99.9), AC WQHQ (Q105), Top 40 WKZP (KISS 95.9), Urban AC WSBY (MAGIC 98.9), News/Talk WJDY-A (NEWS RADIO 1470 AM), and Sports WTGM (FOXSPORTS 960 AM). HOVEL will lead the programming and on-air team in SALISBURY-OCEAN CITY, MD to create and deliver unique content for the market's six radio station brands, reaching consumers through assets including on-air, online, social media, personalities, and live events.

HOVEL will depart WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORP./MARTINSBURG, WV where he served as OM. Prior to that, HOVEL held on-air, PD, and OM positions with CBS RADIO/BALTIMORE and DELMARVA BROADCASTING CO./WILMINGTON, DE. HOVEL worked for iHEARTMEDIA as the afternoon-drive host on WDSD/WILMINGTON, DE from 2013-'14.
