CLIFTON TOPP is selling RED DESERT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, licensee of Sports KREO (ESPN 105.3)/JAMES TOWN-ROCK SPRINGS, WY to ROBERT K. CORNMAN for $50,000.
In other filings with the FCC, CALVARY RADIO NETWORK, INC. is selling W293AL/ROCHESTER, IN to ILLIANA COMMUNICATIONS LLC for $24,500. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast WITY-A/DANVILLE, IL.
iHEARTMEDIA's CITICASTERS LICENSES, INC. has requested a Silent STA for KWDZ-A/SALT LAKE CITY after the land where the transmitter sat was sold and the station asked to vacate on MAY 15th; the STA filing was late "due to administrative oversight."
HISPANIC TARGET MEDIA, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for KGWT/GEORGE WEST, TX due to special conditions in an STA for co-owned KXAF that requires KGWT cease operation on 93.5 FM while KXAF operates on 97.9 FM because of spurious emissions concerns.
BENJAMIN-DANE, LLC has closed on the sale of Gospel KTTP-A/PINEVILLE, LA to RADIO TWO, LLC for $100,000 in a promissory note. The buyer has been programming the station under a Time Brokerage Agreement since JUNE 1, 2015.
And GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH OF AMARILLO has closed on the sale of K280EU and K224EF/AMARILLO, TX; K256BJ/BORGER, TX; K284BH and K233CB/CANYON, TX; K271BW and K269FZ/LUBBOCK, TX; and K296EW/PAMPA, TX to EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. for $100 each ($800 total).
Also, the licenses for two noncommercial FMs licensed to NORTHWEST INDY RADIO -- KRYA and KCFL/GLENOMA, WA -- have been cancelled and the calls deleted from the FCC database per the licensee's request.
