WUSL (Power 99)/Philadelphia Final ‘Peace On The Street Jams’ Series For 2016

iHEARTMEDIA Urban WUSL (POWER 99)/PHILADELPHIA has announced this years final date for its annual PEACE ON THE STREET JAMS Presented by KICKS USA and COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA.

It's a series of free anti-violence live events and activities designed to promote peace and provide communities with the necessary resources to prevent violence.

The last of this years series that started in JUNE (NET NEWS 6/13), is scheduled for THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 1st from 6-8p (ET).  It will take place at THE DELL MUSIC CENTER in PHILADELPHIA and will feature ARTISTS DJ LUKE NASTY, DAE DAE, and DJ DIAMOND KUTS AND FRIENDS.  The event will also include a performance by POWER 99’s own dance group THE POWER SQUAD.

Dir./News & Community Affairs LORAINE BALLARD MORRILL said, “There's never been a better time to promote the message of Peace on our Streets than now.  POWER 99 helps give voice to those who are working hard to end the cycle of violence impacting our communities.  POWER 99 is working closely with community based organizations to help make our neighborhoods safer.”
