JOE STONE, a quadriplegic who set his sights on becoming the first wheelchair-using athlete to complete an IRONMAN triathalon, is the subject of the feature documentary, "It's Raining, So What," which opens nationally on NOVEMBER 24th.
JOE is the son of ADAMS RADIO GROUP Pres./CEO RON STONE.
Following JOE's quest, as well as other peoples' life-changing journeys, the documentary shares how individual facing adversity can find the strength and support to push through boundaries in order to find out what is truly possible.
Clinging to life after a tragic speed-flying acident JOE was in a coma for four weeks, suffering from a broken neck, which rendered him an incomplete quadriplegic. As part of a difficult recovery, JOE set his sights on becoming the first wheelchair-bound quadriplegic to complete a full IRONMAN triathalon. The film is his way of sharing that jorney to inspire others to set goals and live out a fulfilling life no matter the magnitude of lfe's challenges.
