Kudos To KFDI/Wichita's Carol Hughes

Kudos to SCRIPPS Country KFDI/WICHITA, KS APD/MD/midday host CAROL HUGHES, who was honored by the KANSAS ASSOCATION OF BROADCASTERS with the SONNY SLATER AWARD for service to the community and the station. HUGHES, who has been with KFDI for 16 years, founded KFDI’s "ALL FOR THE PAWS" benefit concert supporting the KANSAS HUMANE SOCIETY; she served as chairperson for ArtAID, which benefits local residents living with HIV/AIDS; and she has written numerous comedic plays for the local theater.

HUGHES will receive her AWARD on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9th at the KANSAS ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS annual meeting. Send congrats here.
