Abilene Christian University Athletics Renew With KTLT (98.1 The Ticket)/Abilene, TX

ABILENE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY sports will remain on CUMULUS Sports KTLT (98.1 THE TICKET)/ABILENE, TX under a new three-year deal that doubles the value of the previous contract. The deal covers football, men's and women's basketball, home and selected road baseball games, and the MONDAY night coaches' show from BETTY ROSE'S LITTLE BRISKET. GRANT BOONE returns as play-by-play announcer.
ACU Director of Athletics LEE DE LEON said, "We have been extremely pleased with CUMULUS and the partnership we've enjoyed over the last three years, and we're excited to continue the relationship. What we've done with this contract, however, is raise the bar on what we're offering our fans. We're providing more programming in terms of games and coaches' shows and consistency in their location on the dial. Each broadcast will give us with the opportunity to tell our story and connect with our great fans."
ACU rights holder PEAK SPORTS MANAGEMENT President RYAN HOLLOWAY said, "The partnership between ACU and CUMULUS MEDIA is a game-changer for ACU Athletics and the WILDCAT fan base. By establishing a more valuable partnership with the flagship station, it is another clear statement that ACU is doing big things in the SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE and at the NCAA Division I level."
CUMULUS VP/Market Manager BOURDON WOOTEN said, "CUMULUS is extremely pleased and excited to be the flagship station for ACU athletics. We've enjoyed a great partnership over the last three years, and we look forward to continuing that and adding even more programming over the next three years."
