Sam Hunt Becomes First Solo Male With Four Country Airplay #1 Singles From Debut Album

Kudos to MCA NASHVILLE artist SAM HUNT, who continues to break records as he scored his fourth #1 hit single with "Make You Miss Me" (NET NEWS 8/29). HUNT is the first solo male -- and only the fourth artist overall -- to peak the BILLBOARD Country Airplay chart four times with singles from a debut album since the chart's JANUARY 1990 inception.

Prior to HUNT, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE earned four #1 hits from their debut album, "Here's To The Good Times;" ZAC BROWN BAND got four #1 hits from "The Foundation;" and BROOKS & DUNN earned four #1 hits on "Brand New Man."

Since the 2014 release of the GRAMMY-nominated debut album, "Montevallo," HUNT has accumulated 2.53 billion streams; "Take Your Time" was RIAA certified Triple Platinum (NET NEWS 9/17); "Leave The Night On," "Break Up In A Small Town," and "House Party" earned RIAA Double Platinum certification; "Make You Miss Me" received RIAA Platinum certification; his album track "Ex To See" received RIAA Gold certification; and the album "Montevallo" itself earned RIAA Double Platinum certification (NET NEWS 2/1).
