Chris Brown Arrested For Assault With A Deadly Weapon

Multiple news sources report CHRIS BROWN was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon following an alleged incident early TUESDAY morning (8/30). He's was released overnight on $250,000 bail.

TMZ.com broke the story of LAPD responding to a call from a woman who said BROWN threatened her with a gun at his house during an altercation suposedly over jewelry.  After the alleged victim filed a police report, police obtained a search warrant for his TARZANA, CA home.

BROWN initially refused to leave his home for the police investigation, which resulted in an hours-long standoff.  MARK GERAGOS -- his attorney arrived at BROWN's home shortly after the warrant was issued.

According to the TMZ report, at one point, BROWN threw a bag out of his window that contained guns and drugs.  As news broke, BROWN posted a series of videos on his INSTAGRAM declaring his innocence; however this morning those videos have been taken down.
