Greg Marella Named EVP/Promotion At Capitol Music Group

GREG MARELLA has been appointed to the post of EVP/Promotion for the CAPITOL MUSIC GROUP (CMG), it was announced today by the company's Chairman/CEO STEVE BARNETT, to whom MARELLA reports.  In his new position, MARELLA will oversee the planning and execution of promotion strategies for the CAPITOL and VIRGIN labels, as well as providing support for the promotion efforts of CMG's BLUE NOTE RECORDS, HARVEST RECORDS, ASTRALWERKS and CMG's affiliated labels. In addition to his promotion duties, MARELLA will play a key role in determining the company's direction as a member of BARNETT's senior management team. MARELLA is based in HOLLYWOOD in the iconic CAPITOL TOWER.
