iHEARTMEDIA Alternative WEND (106.5 THE END) and Adult Hits WLKO (102.9 THE LAKE)/CHARLOTTE PD/WEND midday host JACK DANIEL is celebrating 40 years on the air in CHARLOTTE TODAY (9/1).  DANIEL began in radio in 1976 at WPEG and has worked at WAYS/WROQ, WBCY, and WJZR/WRFX.

DANIEL said, “I know I’ve been blessed to have spent my career in my hometown. I’ve also worked with some of the best people you could ask to work with and for. Radio has kept me young at heart and I’m thrilled it chose me for a career.”
