ENTERCOM Rhythmic AC KRBQ (Q102)/SAN FRANCISCO has announced two changes to its on-air lineup as MIA AMOR moves from afternoons to mornings and night jock 'HOODRAT' MIGUEL steps up to succeed AMOR in the afternoon slot.
ENTERCOM/SAN FRANCISCO OM ELROY SMITH commented, "This is a very exciting time for Q102. It's a luxury to be able to elevate two well-deserved Q102 on-air personalities to morning and afternoon drive. MIA's energy will bring fun, witty and relatable content to Q102's morning show with JOEY V. Moving MIGUEL to afternoon drive is a natural evolution for his accomplished career. His spirit and competitiveness will generate lots of excitement for our listeners as they drive home."
MIA AMOR's resume spans a wide-range of formats including Regional Mexican, Top 40, Urban and Top 40/Rhythmic. She began her career at iHEARTMEDIA Top 40/Mainstream KYLD and iHEARTMEDIA Top 40/Rhythmic KDON before moving to LAS VEGAS to host mornings at KEMP BROADCASTING Top 40/Rhythmic KVEG.
AMOR stated, "I'm thankful that ENTERCOM has given me the opportunity to represent the Q brand in Morning Drive. I'm excited to raise the bar and add a different element to mornings that our listeners can look forward to daily."
'HOODRAT' MIGUEL is a BAY AREA native with stints at iHEARTMEDIA Top 40/Mainstream KYLD/SAN FRANCISCO, RIVIERA Top 40/Rhythmic KKFR/PHOENIX, EMMIS Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR/LOS ANGELES and most recently nights at KRBQ.
MIGUEL commented, "This is amazing. I was born and raised in the BAY AREA and to have the opportunity to host afternoon drive is a dream come true. THE TAKEOVER SHOW is ready, and I plan to do just that."
A search for MIGUEL’s replacement in evenings is currently underway.
