The FALL fundraising season kicked off strong as SHAREMEDIA served ONE CONNECTION MEDIA Contemporary Christian WCVO (104.9 THE RIVER)/COLUMBUS last week. 103% of the goal was met through massive donor response, stories from listeners, event messaging channeled through digital, social, call out, print and mail strategies.
SHAREMEDIA hosts, coaches and client advisors on site were JEREMIAH BECK, STEPHANIE KAY, DAVE KIRBY, JASON PARKER and CLAIRE PRICE working on and off the air throughout the week with ‘in the moment’ coaching, consulting and messaging.
SHAREMEDIA VP/GM JASON PARKER said, "It’s incredibly encouraging how many RIVER listeners connected with what GOD is doing through their generosity to deliver hope. We know there is so much more to do for the kingdom and we are humbled to serve Christian Radio and work together with clients like 104.9 THE RIVER in COLUMBUS."
THE RIVER's Midday Host MARY O'BRIEN commented, "The SHAREMEDIA Team are experts. The plan begins well before the on-air fundraising event, so they give us plenty of time and guidance to communicate effectively with our audience. Even in those slow times when phones weren’t ringing they coached us and gave us confidence to keep sharing stories. It’s pretty clear that their focused game plan was a big reason listeners gave and exceeded our goals."
Veteran SHAREMEDIA host/coach STEPHANIE KAY added, "I love working with the team at THE RIVER! These guys are such absolute pros. They lay the groundwork for success. When we come in they have prepared the listeners to know exactly what was happening and why they were being invited to give. Having key production elements including lots of listener calls creates the environment for us to highlight the listener and the ministry and the natural results of all that pre planning and hard work shows. The on-air team worked seamlessly with our SHAREMEDIA hosts. It’s just good radio all the way around!"
