Trustee For Bankrupt Trump Atlantic City Casinos Sues Greater Media To Recover Payments

The trustee for bankrupt TRUMP TAJ MAHAL and TRUMP PLAZA in ATLANTIC CITY is suing GREATER MEDIA's GREATER PHILADELPHIA RADIO to recover $19,215.95 paid to the station during the "preference period" during which assets can be recovered by creditors.

The suit alleges that the payments were avoidable and gave GREATER MEDIA in excess of what it would have gotten under the Bankruptcy Code.  The suit was filed by TRUMP ENTERTAINMENT RESORTS, INC. trustee NATHAN A SCHULTZ in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in DELAWARE TODAY (9/6).  GREATER MEDIA has sold its radio stations to BEASLEY, pending FCC approval.
