Judge Dismisses 4 Of Manuela Herzer's Claims Vs. Shari Redstone

A LOS ANGELES Superior Court judge TODAY (9/7) threw out four of MANUELA HERZER's claims against VIACOM and CBS CORP. Vice Chair SHARI REDSTONE in the continuing legal battle between former Chairman SUMNER REDSTONE's ex-girlfriend and the REDSTONE family.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER reports that Judge SUZANNE BRUGUERA dismissed HERZER's claims of intentional interference with expected inheritance, two common-law invasion of privacy claims, and a statutory privacy claim. The suit over HERZER's allegations that SHARI REDSTONE exerted undue influence over her father and unfairly caused HERZER's removal as SUMNER REDSTONE's health care representative (and in the course of doing so allegedly "spied" on HERZER), however, was not entirely dismissed, with HERZER granted leave to amend and another hearing set for NOVEMBER 7th.  The judge, recommending mediation, told the parties, "I really want to push the settlement."
