SETON HALL UNIVERSITY Rock/Talk WSOU (89.5 FM PIRATE RADIO)/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ, will air special programming in observance of the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred on SEPTEMBER 11th.
- "Thank GOD For MONDAY" (SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th, 8:30a ET): Host BROTHER GREG’s guest is MARY-MICHAEL LEVITT, a SETON HALL grad who has worked tirelessly serving others during times of distress and tragedy, providing mental health assistance in the aftermath of 9/11, hurricanes, floods, fires, tornadoes, and other disasters.
- PIRATE News Desk (SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th, 9a ET): WSOU’s weekly public affairs program will offer student perspectives on 9/11 and look at the expansion of the ESSEX COUNTY EAGLE ROCK SEPT. 11th MEMORIAL in WEST ORANGE, NJ.
- "9/11: Rising Above" (SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 8a ET): A special commemorative program with choral music and narration by former NBC NEWS anchor TOM BROKAW.
- "Moment Of Silence" (SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th 9a ET): WSOU will observe a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the attack.
- "Mass" (SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 11a ET): WSOU’s weekly broadcast of Mass from OUR LADY OF SORROWS CHURCH in SOUTH ORANGE, NJ will include special prayers for the victims of 9/11.
- "Moment Of Silence" (SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, noon ET): WSOU will observe a moment of silence in memory of the 14 members of the SETON HALL community who died on SEPTEMBER 11th as well as for all of the victims of the attacks.
