Country radio outlets nationwide will join together for a joint world premiere debut of "Forever Country," a song by ARTISTS THEN, NOW & FOREVER in celebration of the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION's "50TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS." The "Forever Country" debut is slated for FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th at 8:30a (ET), and all radio stations and radio groups are welcome to participate in the premiere event. The project features a nearly 30 act collaboration, spanning across decades of CMA AWARD winning hit makers and multiple record labels and will be shipped digitally via ALL ACCESS DOWNLOADS on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th at 6a (ET).
The debut of the single will be in tandem with its release to digital retail outlets. Additionally, on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th, the corresponding video for the song will be released for fans nationwide. The music video is set to a medley of JOHN DENVER's "Take Me Home, Country Roads," WILLIE NELSON’s "On the Road Again," and DOLLY PARTON’s "I Will Always Love You;" all are former CMA Entertainers of the Year. "'Forever Country' is a moving tribute to Country music, Country music fans, and the artists who have built this format into what it is today," said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. "This music video is the product of the CMA Board of Directors who came together in support of this project as a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the CMA AWARDS, a statement on the heritage and future of the Country music industry, and a reflection of this year’s AWARDS theme — 'Then. Now. Forever Country.'"
