MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 WSTO/EVANSVILLE JOE PESH took to both the airwaves and the station blog to inform listeners he'll be exiting for a yet to be announced job in INDIANAPOLIS.

He wrote, "I have been trying to figure out a deep and reflective way to say what I’m about to say, but It’s just not coming to me, so here it is. Tomorrow, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th 2016 will be my 942nd day at HOT 96; it will also be my last day. I’ve been offered an opportunity that I could not pass up to be on a morning show in INDY, starting next week. I came to HOT 96 because it was the opportunity I had always wanted -- a chance to be part of a legendary station, lead a morning show for the first time, and to challenge myself like never before."
