WHIN, INC. is selling Country WHIN-A and W264CR/GALLATIN, TN to KENSINGTON DIGITAL MEDIA, L.L.C. for $325,000. The buyer also owns Oldies WHPY-F (HIPPIE RADIO 94.5)/BELLEVUE-NASHVILLE.

In other filings with the FCC, NORTHWEST INDY RADIO has closed on the sale of noncommercial Variety KBSG/WESTPORT-ABERDEEN, WA to CHEHALIS VALLEY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION for $10,000.

And CLYDE A., JOHN S., AND THOMAS C. MUCHMORE d/b/a PONCA CITY PUBLISHING has closed on the sale of News-Talk WBBZ-A/PONCA CITY, OK to ZOE A. BOWLING's STERLING BROADCASTING, LLC for $180,000. The buyers have been operating the station under a time brokerage and services agreement since AUGUST 2015.

CROSS CITY COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has surrendered its license for low-power FM WCKO-LP/CROSS CITY, FL.

In CANADA, the CBC has won CRTC approval to increase the power of CBJ-FM-6/LA BAIE, QC, a rebroadcaster of ICI RADIO-CANADA PREMIÈRE, from 544 to 1,138 watts ERP and decrease the height from 32.1 to 25.8 meters above average terrain.

And NEWCAP's STEEL COMMUNICATIONS has confirmed to the CBC that it has, as previously reported, ended local operations at News-Talk-Classic Hits CKCM-A/GRAND FALLS, WINDSOR, NL and News-Talk-Classic Hits CFSX-A/STEPHENVILLE, NL, both part of the VOCM network, as well as News-Talk-Classic Hits CHCM-A/MARYSTOWN, NL.  CFSX will take its programming from News-Talk-Classic Hits CFCB-A/CORNER BROOK, NL; CKCM will get its programming from News-Talk-Classic Hits CKGA-A (650 VOCM)/GANDER, NL; and CHCM will pick up the main News-Talk-Classic Hits VOCM-A/ST. JOHN'S lineup.  Some local material will be generated for the three areas losing local staff.
