Alex 'El Genio' Lucas To Be Honored By City Of Los Angeles At Friday Event

Syndicated host ALEX “EL GENIO” LUCAS will be honored by the city of LOS ANGELES at the El Grito Mexican Independence Day event on FRIDAY (9/16) at GRAND PARK opposite CITY HALL downtown.  LUCAS will be recognized for his contributions to the community at the event, held annually by LOS ANGELES City Councilman JOSÉ HUIZAR and this year featuring LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE, EZEQUIEL PENA, EMILIO ORTEGA JR., and CRISTIAN FELIX.

LUCAS, whose show is syndicated by AL & CM BROADCASTING to over 50 stations nationwide, said, “It feels really special to be honored by The City of LOS ANGELES as it is a fantastic community full of opportunity, where anybody can get ahead.  It is a place where people who are willing to work hard and provide a useful service, can succeed.  I love this community, and I am very proud of the things that we have accomplished.  The future is full of hope and promise, and I thank God for the opportunity to be of value, and I thank the City of LOS ANGELES for this tremendous honor.”
