THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC’s (ACM) executive search committee officially posted its CEO opening TODAY (9/13) and is now accepting applicants for the position. The chair has been vacant since BOB ROMEO stepped down in MAY after 12 years with the organization (NET NEWS 5/13).
"Over its more than 50 years, the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC has built a strong legacy and deep relationships in Country music," said ACM Board President KEN TUCKER. "Our CBS-televised awards shows are annual anchors for artists, fans and the industry, and our ACM LIFTING LIVES charitable endeavors give even more meaning to all we do. This is an exceptionally exciting time for a new leader to join us as we continue the ACADEMY's growth and further its mission."
