In other filings with the FCC, YOUR CHRISTIAN COMPANION NETWORK, INC. is selling K229CK/PARK CITY, UT to BIBLICAL MINISTRIES WORLDWIDE for $12,500.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Religion KEYY-A/PROVO.

RANDY M HUDSON is selling K279BZ/RIFLE, CO to COLORADO WEST BROADCASTING, INC. for $3,000.   The buyer plans to modify the translator's site, antenna pattern, and power to rebroadcast Country KMTS/GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO.

CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY RADIO, INC. has closed on the sale of W252CQ/ATLANTA, IL (now K254CR/ST. LOUIS) to EMMIS RADIO LICENSE, LLC for $35,000.  The primary station is listed as ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA TRUST/INSANE BROADCASTING CO. Sports WQQX-A/EAST ST. LOUIS, IL.

And JOHN JASON BENNETT has closed on the sale of K299BF/HENRYETTA, OK (now K252FQ/MCALESTER, OK) to SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA RADIO, LLC for $42,000.  The buyer is moving the translator to rebroadcast Classic Country KNED-A/MCALESTER, OK.

In CANADA, the CRTC denied DENNIS M. DYCK's 101056012 SASKATCHEWAN LTD.'s application to change the format of Contemporary Christian CJJC (THE ROCK 98.5 FM)/YORKTON, SK to a Variety or "New Oldies" format.  The agency rejected the licensee's contention that it would "quickly disappear if it did not radically reorient its programming" and ruled that it would undermine the CRTC's licensing process, which granted the license as a low-power station and allowed a radical power increase to Class B because its format brought diversity to the market and did not pose a competitive threat to other stations.
