Jeetz Is Back In Seattle

HUBBARD RADIO Classic Rock KVRQ (ROCK 98-9)/SEATTLE has named JOE "JEETZ" REDER as afternoon-drive host.

JEETZ spent eight-plus years as on-air talent for KISW/SEATTLE before moving to ANCHORAGE, AK as PD/afternoon drive at AIM Active Rock KZND/ANCHORAGE. He came back to SEATTLE as morning host/producer for KHTP/SEATTLE and returns to SEATTLE following his morning-show gig at CBS RADIO Alternative KXTE (X107.5)/LAS VEGAS as co-host of the MARCO and JEETZ morning show.

JEETZ said, "Obviously to anyone who knows me, the chance to return to SEATTLE was an extremely attractive opportunity for me. Not only because it’s where I was born and raised, but the chance to do radio for the SEATTLE rock listeners, who I consider some of the most passionate in the country, seemed like a great fit. To top it off, my meetings with DAVE NUMME and MARC KAYE at HUBBARD blew me away! Both were first-class from the moment I met them. The station flat-out ROCKS and I couldn’t be any more excited to join ROCK 98-9!!! I’d also like to thank CBS/LAS VEGAS for allowing me to return home as my wife and I are expecting the birth of our first child.
