BUSINESS INSIDER has published its list of the Top 40 Best-Selling Music Artists Of All Times, based on RIAA certification of albums, singles and music videos sold, and to no one's surprise, THE BEATLES top the rankings with a total of 178 million units.

The Fab Four were followed by GARTH BROOKS (136m), ELVIS PRESLEY (136m), LED ZEPPELIN (111.5m), THE EAGLES (101m), BILLY JOEL (82.5m), MICHAEL JACKSON (79m), ELTON JOHN (77m), PINK FLOYD (75m) and AC/DC (72m).

After that, it was GEORGE STRAIT (69m), BARBRA STREISAND (68.5m), THE ROLLING STONES (66.5m), AEROSMITH (66.5m), BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN (65.5m), MADONNA (64.5m), MARIAH CAREY (64m), METALLICA (62m), WHITNEY HOUSTON (57m) and VAN HALEN (56.5m).
