MCA NASHVILLE artist SAM HUNT led the RIAA GOLD and PLATINUM honors in AUGUST 2016 for the Country format. HUNT received MULTI-PLATINUM Single honors for "House Party," "Take Your Time," "Leave The Night On," and "Break Up In A Small Town;" PLATINUM Single for "Make You Miss Me;" and GOLD Single for "Ex To See."
RIAA MULTI-PLATINUM Single recognition also went to LITTLE BIG TOWN for "Girl Crush," and PLATINUM Single honors went to COLE SWINDELL for "You Should Be Here," DIERKS BENTLEY for "Somewhere On A Beach," and KELSEA BALLERINI for "Love Me Like You Mean It." Additionally, RIAA GOLD Single honors went to ERIC CHURCH for "Record Year," CHRIS LANE for "Fix," DAN + SHAY for "From The Ground Up," JAKE OWEN for "AMERICAN Country Love Song," CHRIS YOUNG for "I'm Comin' Over," and BALLERINI for "PETER PAN."
Garnering RIAA MULTI-PLATINUM Album recognition were CHURCH for "Chief" and ZAC BROWN BAND (ZBB) for "The Foundation;" and PLATINUM Album honors for CHURCH's "CAROLINA" and ZBB's "JEKYLL + HYDE."
