iHEARTMEDIA Rock KZPS (92.5 THE LONE STAR)/DALLAS-FORT WORTH will debut "The JOHN WOLFE Show" after its successful run on crosstown KEGL (97.1 THE EAGLE). The show can be heard on SATURDAYS from 8-12a (CT).
The WESTWOOD ONE show can be heard on several iHEARTMEDIA and CUMULUS affiliates, including KTBZ (94.5 THE BUZZ)/HOUSTON and KBRU (94.7 THE BREW)/OKLAHOMA CITY, among others.
"The JCW Show" celebrated its 10-year anniversary this past summer. As a 20-year veteran, and the largest wholesale car dealer in all of TEXAS during the week, WOLFE has a special hook that no other morning show anywhere can provide. He actually offers his listeners hard cash offers for a vehicle they're considering trading into a car dealership live on the air, sight unseen and through his website www.givemethevin.com throughout the show.
Said WOLFE: "It's alleged that they stole the idea for MARK CUBAN's 'Shark Tank' from listening to my show in DALLAS, and you know what I got in return…Nothing, not even some MAVS tickets…welcome to my life."
He added: "The show content is a mix of 85% entertainment and 15% cars, we play four great songs each hour, swing into topics of the day, take a few calls to argue with people about why their car is actually worth 20 grand but they're dead set on 25… I try to explain to them that just because they lost their virginity in that 1988 K5 Blazer, that doesn't mean it's worth more money than the next one, but had I been the lucky fella partnering that precious experience with her, I'd indeed feel like I owed a little extra on this particular truck… Tune it in, check us out, we know our stuff, been at it awhile…and yes, those are indeed ZULU's wings from KZEW, she's still watching over us after all these years."
