BEASLEY BROADCASTING Country WXTU/PHILADELHIA held it's first-ever FIREFIGHTER AUCTION last night (10/17). Over 500 people paid $9.25 to get in the door at MICHAEL'S CAFE to participate in an auction that sold off some of the finest firefighters, at least for one evening.
The date packages also included such events as GRETCHEN WILSON ON ICE, VIP treatment at the BATES MOTEL haunted attraction, indoor go-karting at MID ATLANTIC GRAND PRIX, tickets to the PHILADELPHIA SPORTS FAN CHOICE AWARDS and much more. The event raised over $10,000, and all proceeds benefit the TEMPLE BURN CENTER at the TEMPLE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
