The OMAHA CITY COUNCIL has voted 4-2 to ask CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KFAB-A/OMAHA for a public apology for a parody ad lampooning the NORTH OMAHA tourism effort aired on TOM BECKA's show. The parody ad cited the area's gang violence and the community's "stop snitching" attitude, but council members from the area objected to the satire. No community members showed up to TUESDAY's council meeting to supprt the resolution, but several members of the public showed up to support BECKA, who did not attend the meeting. The station has posted an apology for the bit online, but is now airing another parody poking fun at the council.
