The CONCLAVE’s TALENTRAK 2006 happens this SATURDAY (10/21) in CHARLOTTE, and since the event is attracting ‘day-students’ from communities outside CHARLOTTE, the start of the day will be backed up a half-hour to accommodate those traveling to the event by car.
The revised morning schedule has QUALIFYING: HOW TO GET YOUR CAREER ON THE POLE POSITION, hosted by WLNK/CHARLOTTE PD NEIL SHARPE and WNKS/CHARLOTTE OM/PD JOHN REYNOLDS , starting at 9:30a. At 10:30a, it’s THE RACE: LAPPING THE COMPETETIVE FIELD, hosted by syndicated morning hosts, based at WNKS, ACE & TJ, with MATT HARRIS from the syndicated MATT & RAMONA SHOW, based at WLNK, and JAYE DELAI, middayer at CHARLOTTE's WQNC..
THE CHECKERED FLAG: WINNING AT THE CORPORATE LEVEL gets going at 11:30a and will be taught by DAN VALLIE of VALLIE RICHARDS DONOVAN CONSULTING, and COLEMAN VP GREG DUNKIN. At 12:30p, the keynote will be presented by SHERI LYNCH of the syndicated, WLNK-based BOB & SHERI SHOW.
At 2p, TALENTRAK presents its first-ever Job Fair while TALENTRAK registrants attend the Aircheck Clinic. The final TALENTRAK session - GREAT WAR STORIES OF RADIO – offers an intimate glance at the trials and tribulations of some of the industry’s most successful air talents! The end of the day will feature the traditionally informal TALENTRAK Happy Hour.
Pre-registration for TALENTRAK is now closed, but admission is still possible at the door for $59. Rooms are still available at the HOLIDAY INN, 230 N. COLLEGE STREET, CHARLOTTE, NC 28202, by calling (704) 335-5400 or (800) HOLIDAY (465-4329).
