KMJ/Fresno's 'Feeding Families Fund Drive #3' Breaks Records

CUMULUS News-Talk KMJ-A-F/FRESNO teamed with local agricultural company GAR TOOTELIAN INC. and FRESNO-MADERA FARM CREDIT to raise $231k for the city's COMMUNITY FOOD BANK.
Last FRIDAY’s day-long broadcast at THE MARKET GROCERY STORE featured KMJ hosts JOHN BROEKSE, CHRISTINA MUSSON, RAY APPLETON and CHRIS DANIEL.
Listeners donated more than $154,000 in cash, with GAR TOOTELIAN INC. matching each cash donation with 50 cents for every dollar for a total of $77k, bringing the total cash donation to the COMMUNITY FOOD BANK to $231,000, far surpassing previous station fundraisers.

The funds will help the CENTRAL VALLEY’s less fortunate residents by providing more than 1.5 million meals.
