Not a lot was happening in the FCC database TODAY (9/23), with just a few notifications from stations that have gone temporarily dark and a pair of closings.

Among the few filings, iHEARTRADIO's CC LICENSES, LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WHNK-A/PARKERSBURG, WV while it looks to sell the station.

The UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA has filed for a Silent STA for KDFH/BIG SUR, CA to make transmitter repairs after discovering problems during a post-acquisition inspection.

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for K270BA/WICKENBURG, AZ while it builds at a new location.

CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has asked the Commission for an extension of its Silent STA for W219CN/ALBRIGHTSVILLE, PA while it tries to get a permit from the thus-far uncooperative town to hang its antenna on a new tower.

IN PHASE BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of Tejano KBGT (LA VOZ 93.3)/BUFFALO GAP-ABILENE, TX to PETE GARCIA's EXTREME MEDIA, LLC for $317,290.73.

And SUPPORT CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of Silent KORE-A/SPRINGFIELD-EUGENE, OR to KORE BROADCASTING, LLC for $1; the buyer also paid $20,000 to LARRY KNIGHT for equipment and tangible property.

Also, the donation by FMI MEDIA, INC. of  the construction permit for KFMS/PAULDEN, AZ to ONE MINISTRIES, INC. has been dismissed and the CP cancelled.
