iHeartMedia/Tucson Launches Talk KTZR-A

Debuts Monday

iHEARTMEDIA/TUCSON will launch a new conservative Talk station, 1450 KTZR-A, "The Talk of TUCSON," on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th. “We’re thrilled to announce the debut of 1450 KTZR, The Talk of TUCSON,” iHEARTMEDIA/TUCSON Market Pres. CARL ANDERSON said. “We will focus on broadcasting strong news, traffic and weather content.”  

The weekday programming lineup will be GLENN BECK (6-9), Trending Today USA with RUSTY HUMPHRIES (9a-noon), The (MICHAEL) SAVAGE Nation (noon-3p), MICHAEL BERRY (3-5p), ROB HUNTER (5-6p), AMERICA Now with MEGHAN MCCAIN (6-9p), Ground Zero (9p-midnight), AMERICA Now Rewind (midnight–3a) and ALEX JONES (3-6a).  

In addition, KTZR announced a new three-year partnership with the minor league hockey team TUCSON ROADRUNNERS. Beginning in OCTOBER, the radio station will air live coverage of the local hockey games.
