SALEM MEDIA GROUP Contemporary Christian KFSS (104.1 THE FISH)/PORTLAND, OR, has hired CRYSTAL THORNTON as its new morning co-host starting in mid-OCOTBER.  

This marks a return to the area for CRYSTAL, who was the morning and midday news anchor at CBS affiliate KOIN-TV in the late '90s. The veteran broadcaster had TV anchor stops including KOIN, KDAF-TV and KXAS-TV/DALLAS, and WGHP/HIGH POINT, NC. Radio stops include KKDA/DALLAS and WQMG/GREENSBORO, NC.
