BROADCAST MUSIC, INC (BMI) will honor BLUE CHAIR/COLUMBIA NASHVILLE artist KENNY CHESNEY will its BMI PRESIDENT'S AWARD during the company's "64TH ANNUAL BMI COUNTRY AWARDS" on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1st. Held at BMI's NASHVILLE offices, BMI President/CEO MIKE O'NEILL will host the ceremony with BMI NASHVILLE VP/Writer Publisher Relations JODY WILLIAMS.

The BMI PRESIDENT'S AWARD is presented to songwriters who have distinctly and profoundly influenced the entertainment industry, and in receiving the award, CHESNEY will join a list of honorees that include WILLIE NELSON, BROOKS & DUNN, TAYLOR SWIFT, and current collaborator P!NK. "KENNY CHESNEY is first and foremost a songwriter," said WILLIAMS. "Not only has he earned the respect of the songwriting community, but he has also developed into a top-notch recording artist who re-wrote the concert touring experience by selling out stadiums year after year.
