A recent promotion in the newsroom at CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WOOD-A/GRAND RAPIDS has the station needing to quickly find a replacement part-time news and traffic reporter.
PD PHIL TOWER tells ALL ACCESS that the station is looking for someone with 1-2 years' radio news experience and good writing skills with a conversational style, and familiarity with NewsGen or similar programs would be a plus. The right person will have a strong willingness to embrace new technology, including podcasting, and would get a minimum of 15 hours a week plus additional hours anchoring for TOTAL TRAFFIC NETWORK.
Get resumes, writing samples, and an MP3 aircheck (preferably with newscasts and live reporting) to ROB ST. MARY, News Director, NEWSRADIO WOOD 1300, 77 Monroe Center, Suite 1000, GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49503 or robstmary@clearchannel.com (no calls, EOE).
