Even as one of its founders, LYOR COHEN, heads to take a job as Head Of Global Music at YOUTUBE, 300 ENTERTAINMENT continues to move forward, singing two new acts, CHEAT CODES and MAGGIE LINDEMANN.
COHEN started the label, along with TODD MOSCOWITZ, ROGER GOLD and KEVIN LILES, and signed major hip-hop acts FETTY WAP and YOUNG THUG.
CHEAT CODES are the 22nd most streamed artist on SPOTIFY, with half a billion streams a month. Their track, "Turn Me On," has over 100 million streams, with their re-work of SALT N PEPA’s “Sex” sitting at 310 million streams. The band's song “Visions” reached #1 on the HYPEMACHINE charts. They’ve been commissioned for official remixes from acts like KELLY CLARKSON, JUSTIN BIEBER and ZELLA DAY, played major festivals like FIREFLY, and have been hand selected to tour with THE CHAINSMOKERS.
MAGGIE LINDEMANN's 2015 independent debut single “Knocking On Your Heart” crashed into the Top 20 of iTUNES Top Alternative Songs chart, while its follow-up “Couple of Kids” went Top 30. 2016’s “Things” trended worldwide on TWITTER and landed on SPOTIFY’s Top 50 Viral Worldwide. Her INSTAGRAM covers of RIHANNA’s “Love on the Brain” and KEHLANI's “Letter” would each quickly crack over 200K views. By September 2016, she amassed over 3 million-plus YOUTUBE views and 1.5 million INSTAGRAM followers. Co-written with SASHA SLOAN and SEAN MYER, her major label debut “Pretty Girl” debuts today on COSMO. Sample lyric: “You see me holding up my middle finger to the world, fuck your ribbons and your pearls, because I’m not just a pretty girl.”
