The 2017 RADIO DISNEY MUSIC AWARDS will return to the MICROSOFT THEATER in LOS ANGELES for its fifth anniversary on SATURDAY, APRIL 29th. Once again, it's all about the fans around the world, whose votes will determine which artists will win the RADIO DISNEY "ARDY" statuette.

The 2016 RDMA, broadcast in over 150 countries, featured a surprise performance by HERO AWARD recipient GWEN STEFANI, an epic drum-off between "The Muppets" star ANIMAL and FALL OUT BOY's ANDY HURLEY; a never-before-seen mash-up of KELSEA BALLERINI's "Peter Pan" and DAYA's "Hide Away;" the first television performances of SOFIA CARSON's "Love Is The Name" and LAURA MARANO's "Boombox," and many more memorable moments.

In 2016, a record 238 million votes from around the world were cast across five polling platforms, more than twice the number of votes recorded in 2015 (+136%, vs. 101 million). Social engagement was robust leading up to the 2016 show, amassing billions of impressions across prominent platforms including FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM, SNAPCHAT, the RADIO DISNEY app and RADIODISNEY.COM.
