KZZP/Phoenix Brings In Ex-KDWB Jock J.J. From The Cold

CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KZZP (104-7 KISS-FM)/PHOENIX inks former KDWB night slammer J.J. for nights, effective soon. KISS PD MARK MEDINA commented on his shiny new night guy by saying, "This is a high-profile gig that requires just the right person to be able to push buttons while simultaneously saying things. If anyone can do it, so can J.J.!" 

Landing the PHOENIX gig just in time to elude the frigid MINNESOTA winter, J.J. squealed, "Finally, I'll be able to stare at a palm tree from the studio! I'm looking forward to turning up the heat in 'the Valley' even more with PD MARK MEDINA and OM SMOKEY RIVERS."

MEDINA added, "Rumors that he took the gig for three Scottsdale blondes in lieu of an actual paycheck aren't ... completely true."
